I have used Banktivity products since 2011 This upgrade is more of an update There are no visual changes and no real functionality changes There is a mention of budgeting envelopes but I can t find them on the iPad app or maybe they are well hidden The real disappointment is that the page to enter an expense has not changed I have written in asking for changes in the past This page is still counter intuitive and needs to be reorganized The bottom line is that I just payed 20 for an app that is essentially the same However I am a fan of the desktop full version         Disappointing 41934abz

I purchased this app in November and now again in December It doesn t see the custom budget I entered on my Mac and it still doesn t allow me to enter a complete custom budget The app won t allow me to enter budget data for December I m beginning to feel I made a mistake going with Banktivity For the price I believe this app should duplicate the desktop functionality in budgeting The apps should be compatible The budgets should synch accurately I also would like to be able to at least view my receipts if not enter them through the iOS app         Unable to enter a complete custom budget SactoMichael

Been a Banktivity iBank user for years and I purchased the updated iPad app for the listed improvements There is no doubt this is a good application but for 19 99 it really needs to include more Banktivity really needs to be on par with the desktop application especially given that many use the iPad as a laptop replacement However there are two major flaws that need fixed and one minor 1 Primary financial app isn t possible until the application includes reconciliation I find it very difficult for this app to be anyone s primary financial software without this and it s a basic function that should be included when charging 20 Appears to be just protecting the desktop app 2 The ability to use other online storage options such as iCloud or Google drive to store files in Minor The iPad version needs more advanced reporting ala the desktop app If the developer can knock these out its worth the investment Until then put your 20 in a betterment account and wait             Functional but needs more Rcooked

Syncing with the Banktivity cloud and loading from onboard data is a noticeably faster This is an initial review and I will update as I get more experience using my iPhone iPad and Mac versions of the software UPDATE Syncing between iPhone and iPad appears to be quick and accurate Budgeting is next on my list I plan to start on the Mac and see how well my entries sync to the iPhone and iPad                     New app is an improvement JohnMP
