The ad placement on this app is completely out of whack They are now being placed in the middle of the paragraph youre trying to read and you cant remove them Thankfully I can remove the app from my devices     Ads Blocking the Stories
Still remains the most disappointing App on my iPad     Crashes
Removing this app because every once in a while ads will pop up in safari Really annoying     Ads while scrolling
I used to enjoy the CNET news app but the apps bugs and just coding errors in general are becoming unbearable The app locks up the the device the video still freezes the app crashes You guys are a tech sight for geeks and nerds and cant get this app right I guess Ill have to just get my news from Appy if you guys cant do better     Come On CNET
None of the videos will play Please resolve           Wont play videos
I like CNET but it is a little embarrassing for a tech focused news organization to do so poorly with their own use of tech CNET news coverage is good in the app but the app itself is very buggy and poorly maintained Biggest personal pet peeve of mine is the widget will never refresh on any IOS device unless you totally delete the app and redownload I hope that CNET will take this more seriously in the future this is the medium most folks are going to use to access their stories        Disappointing
Used to be good Now crashes all the time locks up the phone just nonfunctional     Dont install
The new video player that follows you as you look at other articles is really cool I am always multitasking and this makes that much easier              Cool video player
If you have any geek inside you youll love this app Brian Tongs Apple Bite show is a great look inside the big A Brian Cooley gives you all the car info you could want and Steve Gutenberg is an audiophile nerds best resource I highly recommend this app                 My favorite app
This app is pathetic Video hardly ever works and when it works it would make u watch their dumb commercial several times before playing the video And how stupid I mean stupid is it to require an Internet connection to just read an article How come they dont review their own app I would give it zero star if I can     One would expect a bit more
The app has ads that block the screen and cannot be removed Will quit using it until they stop this abusive practice     Ads Block Screen
If you want me to read your stories quit forcing me out of the app every time I graze an ad while I am scrolling     Ads make it unusable
I love the scroll down to scan topics and the wide range of topics I found it very easy to use                 Easy to use
Great update Glad the video player works much better Would give 5 stars if it werent for the adds Every time cnet updates the app more adds appear           Great update ditch the adds
I always wondered what it stood for Update Still Crashing Nearly Every Time Super sucky     Crashes Nearly Every Time CNET
Love the content but scrolling through and finding something to read is kind of obnoxious now that the windows previewing each article are like this wide              Great analysis
I want to start out saying that I love reading cnet but there are a lot of little glitches The one that annoys me the most is the ads in between the the headlines While I scroll down looking for an article to read occasionally an ad opens up in safari This happened a few times and I wondered why I found out if I even touch the ad to scroll not a tap Im pushing my finger up for the natural scrolling it will open the ad I will purposely be looking for the ads so I dont scroll over them but sometimes the ads dont even load up and they show as a black box or nothing at all I scroll and guess what Safari pops up I cant win this is frustrating and annoying Out of all the little glitches please fix this one first     PLEASE READ
I LOVE IT SO WILL YOU                 I love it
Like the App but you cannot read offline I give that a bad apple        Why I cant read offline
Too many ads     Ads everywhere even covering content
Please keep your opinions out of politics I use this app as a tech news source not for politics     Political News App
Aha Awesome video player functionality that not only fixed the previous issues but also takes it up a notch Being able to minimize the player and check out other content while watching is genius                 CNET you can do much better
Hate all the ads You try to close them out the You get another dialog box asking why you want to close the ad Really Just adds to the frustration as once selecting a choice youre left with a gray box in the middle of the article Its not worth the inconvenience     Get rid of the ads
Not the best service or example of cNet The website is great but this app isnt a great reflection at all of the website and its capacity to provide great information Half of the specifications and other data in the tabs within a product review are missing and not even there Needs lots of work still        Data incomplete in most screens
The app constantly crashes And lags a lot on both my iPhone 5S and iPad mini 2 hoping this update might fix it        Ok
Well designed app                 Well designed app
Placing ads under my thumb so that I accidentally touch them when scrolling is bad form CNet Im sure its not what the advertisers had in mind when they paid for click that I immediately exit Ill switch to the competition Good bye     Frustrating app repetitive logins ad placement
I really like this app Good up to date info                 Great App
00 whats the point All it does it crash If thats what its supposed to do great job I guess     Worst app ever
This is a great app only if you want to review or read about a commercial or a ad     Just keeps getting worse
It was crashing my phone all the time I deleted and reinstalled it and havent had an issue since              For those having issues Delete the app and reinstall it
Love cnet articles Have for years This app is just annoying as hell to use Just trying to scroll down an article and an advertisement forwards me to a safari add They are hyper sensitive so its almost impossible to scroll down without clicking it Im sure they love it because they can show advertisers how many clicks they get from their app Its just a shady move on their part For a website that judges other tech products They sure are being hypocritical with this app        Good content wrapped with a horrible app
Review titles do not contain product names so you waste a lot of time trying to find your bearings Also its unclear what CNET is recommending as the current top products The Best Products lists are just reversechronological lists of review titles which surprise dont contain any product names Please try again CNET        Looks good but hides what you want
Improved much from previous versions but still insufficient from a technology website You are unable to read opened articles if there is no data connection So much for attempting to read something on the subway Also doesnt show same articles on the homepage of the website Some are even repeated several times Poor layout        Not great for a self claimed tech site
Story links crash the app All The Time     Heinously Buggy
My one stop shop for the latest tech news and reviews Well designed app and easy to use                 Awesome app
You should not be allowed to write a sing review about tech You cant even make an app that doesnt constantly freeze and crash Fix the app For once just fix it     Worst app on my iPad
App is one of the worst in the whole store I am constantly take out of the app to follow and ad to Safari when I dont even click on anything Performance is horrendous and every video makes you watch a 30second ad before you can view it Content is getting weaker and weaker too I love tech news but this app has to go Deleting     Frustrating and intrusive ads
Shame about this app Used to read it all the time now I can hardly read before it opens an ad in safari Intolerable Just deleted     Was great now unusable black eye for cnet
Have had this app couple years No problems Interesting reads Check it every day Ads dont bother me You gotta pay the bills right Keep up the good work Works great on my iPad 4                 Love CNET
Unbelievable how a tech site cant make an app that actually works properly This app crashes and forces you to see ads Do they even bother testing this app at all     Get rid of the forced ads
Best tech news app out there Really enjoying the latest update                 Love this app
This is a great tech news app The functionality is solid the sharing is fine the cast personalities are good the car stuff at the site is fantastic                 A great tech news app
Why do we have to watch the same commercial about a cbs sitcom before each and every video Isnt one time enough        Cbs commercial
Agree with some of the comments that a tech app should have exemplary quality Ive had many versions of this app on many iPhones The only thing that was consistent is that the app tends to freeze my phone crashes and gets cluttered with annoying adds Apps like this Id purchase to get an adfree version but not if the SW quality is that low        Content is great the app very poor
Since the last update it keeps crashing every time I open it and when I manage to open itit becomes really slow to navigate Please fix        Crushing every time it opens
I honestly dont even know why I bother to write this Its just ridiculous Apple still allows this app on the store All it does is freeze the phone and crash Every Single Time Even after an update Done     Done
Technically Incorrect CNET used to be very nice resource to look up new tec now its boring and feels like only sponsored articles and commercials is all you see also who ever pays more makes it to the top reviews by cnet only to promote their product or something like that     cNet Rocks
Crashes when reading articles Please fix     Buggy
Cannot watch videos        Needs more work
