This app is supposed to work with BD playerHDD recorders from 2011 and later I have the HR550 connected to my WIFI and I have the message No device is detected I tried to find information on the internet but I couldnt LG website is crappy and theres no information on it This app needs an online support     Not working

Completely worthless Was never able to pair with my Bluray despite being on the same network powered on etc Immediately deleted     Horrible

Pro As far as infilm control volume navigating general settings goes this app worked better than the remote and was smooth Also it doesnt appear to use much battery Con integration of the iPhone keyboard would be great as using the actual remote is time consuming              Works pretty good w LHB336

App has not been updated for a year or 2 so no longer relevant Please make this useful for newer models please would be a great app     Please update

If the system is off the app wont detect it Once you turn it on with the real remote the app works great I love it because my theater system is in a cabinet and I dont need an IR repeater to control my system                 I love it

I downloaded this to see if it worked on a 250 BD570 which is a wireless blue ray player the newest BD690 is around 125 Im not sure if that one works with this app its not wireless One would think a 250 device that uses wifi for a network would be able to use this app LG has poor support when it comes to their apps     Says it works with networked bluerays but doesnt

When using the app its very convenient Unfortunately its very unreliable I often have trouble establishing a connection with the receiver This problem persist whether the HTS is connected via Ethernet or wifi           Ok but needs improvement

But I have a bp320 great blu ray player features are awesome and would love if this app worked but I cant get it to connect to my player period It wont even find it to connect to it please update the app to work with my BP320     Would like to give more stars

At the Consumer Electronics Show CES in 2011 the LG booth was showing off the BD690 BluRay player and entering text using an iPhone instead of the worthless virtual keyboard So over a year later and they have still not released the version with a keyboard to the general public Instead they offer this app which does exactly what your dedicated IR remote does except is much less convenient to use As anyone with one of the latest LG network hard disk BluRay players knows entering network device names passwords naming files and directories using the virtual keyboard is a huge waste of time so an app with a keyboard would really make a huge improvement to all these devices BTW this app does work with the 2010 series BD5xx BluRay players in case you are wondering the description makes it sound as though it does not Tested with BD590 with latest firmware app version 124     Where is the KEYBOARD shown at CES 2011

I installed this app over a month ago Every time I try to get it to work it would not recognize the fact that I own a Bluray surround sound purchased in December 2011 since it said it would work with ones purchased in 2011 I assumed it would work instantly At first I thought it needed an update but the first two times after I updated the Bluray player it still didnt work It is now working however it needs to work the first time that you attempt to make it work It would also be nice if there were more features as other people suggested such as a keyboard feature I also have the TV app it would be nice if I could work both products in the same app Isnt that the point of buying things with in the same brand           Tv one works better
