I updated the app and now it wont open It crashes every time I tried to reinstall it but does the same thing I really loved this app before It was my only way to get current news and weather since my kids and husband monopolize the TV I guess Ill have to try another news channel app Extremely disappointed
Crashes when you try to open worthless Weather
Pretty much useless the only thing the app is good at is crashing when you try to open it Crash fest download only if you like constant crashes
I used to check this app every night before I went to bed to get caught up on all the news that had happened that day and future weather and to see about snowsnow days Now it takes about 3 minutes to load to open the app and then it normally crashes I still havent even learned how to use the new update so I have no clue what the features are or how to work it so please change it back to the old update New update

I liked the app before but the stories were not being updated and the weather would only refresh when I changed the zip I uninstalled it so Ill reinstall it but the app has seriously gone down in performance App

The biggest issue I have with this app is that it is very slowly updated to give new information Its actually frustrating how behind it becomes on the weekends The weather gets updated only at specific times Apparently in the smart phone world we are only allowed to know information at specific times News and weather is slowly updated

I just want to read a news story in a quiet setting when I get an alert about it Instead I get some loud video ad that plays when I swipe the alert Also why does it always ask if I want to install the mobile app when I bring up a story Im already in the mobile app Annoying loud video ads
Previously This app provided a good balance of local and international breaking news alerts via notifications Now they just self promote their broadcasts three times a day In the app links that open up to an embedded browser display the download our app advertisement you get when browsing their site in Safari Its poor design that my two options are to click no thanks or visit App Store when I am already using the app However I do applaud the live stream of the newscasts and video weather forecasts Its unfortunate NBC Connecticut is more interested in getting viewers than delivering the news Push Notifications are Spam

I ran into an html popup add on this app that would not let me close it without having me hit the ok button to accept what is was they wanted to add to my phone I think this is very poor quality and I dont think I will trust any apps and or adds NBC puts out if they cant control the advertising they put out which seem to have possible malicious intents Id expect more from a respectable news station Popup adds have dont let you close them

Where is the actual traffic map The old app the traffic section had map I could quickly visually see the traffic on my route to work The addition of traffic alerts are nice but where is the map Disappointing Traffic map missing
