Always been a fan of the National Zoo The 199 I spent on this app to see the baby panda is the best 199 Ive ever spent Obviously down when fed govt closed but happy to see how much the baby girl panda has grown                 Zoo and panda cam

I purchased this app because your website said the panda cam was up running WHERE IS IT     UPDATE THIS APP

Best 199 I spent in a long time Downloaded the app to watch the new cubs birth when I couldnt get on to the website cam Worked perfectly and I watched and listened to the miracle unfold                 Works great

As a local its great to know whats going on at the zoo today so my family and I can drop in when we know something were interested in is happening FeatureContent Request I wish in the about animal x the content would talk about the National Zoos animals Like all of the cubwatch info would be great in context of the animals Or we have three grey wolves They are X Y and Z Y is the alpha of the pack              Great app for DC locals

Not just great for taking a tour of the zoo this app actually keeps my grand daughter engaged with animal noises games movies and cams She is not quite two                 Zoo App is Fantastic

I bought this ap to watch Mei Xiang throughout the day with her tiny baby panda Much better than the web feed which shuts you down midstream this works very well I might add the folks at the National Zoo have great camera people staying focused on Mei and bubba                 Great PandaCam

Dont know what happened but I no longer can access anything but basic info on zoo times routes etc Where are the animal cams videos and all the wonderful informative stories I paid for this app I counted on my panda fix I feel very deprived     Nothing left here

We visited the zoo last weekend with three preschoolers and a baby The kids were asking to see animals regardless of any planned route so I downloaded this at the zoo to help us find their requests quickly It took several minutes to download Once I opened it it took a long time to load all the info while switching between features The main feature we were interested in the map wasnt helpful since it is very general and doesnt show you specifically where most animals are It might be helpful for planning your trip but I think you could do that just as easily online I did not think it was helpful as a realtime resource at least not with preschoolaged attention spans        Not worth it

I downloaded this to my iPad and have been happily watching the panda and her cub Awesome app Works perfectly 5 stars                 Awesome

The cameras not working actually validated for me that the camera was in fact live So im glad they are working now and that they are definitely live cameras This app is obviously great for the inzoo experience but even more importantly inhome it is a great learning tool and is entertaining I have even recommended to teachers to use this app in the classroom for the Animals AZ tab as well as the Panda cam and of course the Zooify Yourself tool                 Great LEARNING experienceand FUN

I visit the DC Zoo really often and I absolutely love it I bought this app to be able to utilize the animal cams however the few that are on the app never even work Kind of sad and makes me wish I could get a refund     Bought for the cams they never work

Bought this app 8232015 Deleted on same date Bought it for the cams especially the mole rats which arent included Other cams are slow unfocused and of generally poor quality     Nope

Love the info about the animals and the videos are great The cams however are not so good The ones that work have such poor quality you cant see anything One doesnt load at all And the panda cams wont playall you get is a still picture I would have rated it a 5 if there were more cams as well as cams that actually worked and you can actually see something              Good info but cams lacking

Considering that purchasing a map at the zoo will run you 3 dollars this is a great purchase I used it while touring with a group of kindergarteners on a field tripit was perfect                 Perfect

I was very disappointed I was expecting a map showing our position in the zoo to help navigate to the exhibits we wanted to see The map was not very helpful and the paper copy that I subsequently purchase was much more useful I expected more from the National Zoo        National Zoo App

There is so much stuff to do and see in this app The fact that you get a GPS zoo map info on hundreds of animals live animal cams which appear to be working better and extra fun stuff like the puzzles for less than the price of a paper zoo map is fantastic Only minor complaint would be that the quality on the tiger and lion cams isnt as crisp as it is for the pandas                 Bang for your buck

For a map it seems to be good but I bought it for the animal cams So far have yet to see anything other than the pandas and the app tends to kick me out every 4 to 7 min regardless of what Im doing Getting really tired of reading some cool animal facts to my kids and having to suddenly reopen and find where I was continually Will rate higher when they fix those two problems           Needs work

I bought this app to see the new tiger cubsusing the link at the tiger cub cam web site However the iPhone app isnt linked to the tiger cub cam just the regular tiger cam Im very disappointed     Not happy

I said in my original review below that I would update it if the cameras started working As of today they seem to be working well so I update from one star to three stars If they continue working for the next week or two I will update again and give a higher rating When I pay for an app I expect it to work This one does not I bought it mainly to watch the new panda cub but have been 100 unsuccessful in the 24 hours Ive owned the program None of the cams work not just the panda cam The cameras do work on my PC so it must just be this Apple app Ill keep trying and when and if it ever works I will alter this review           Cams dont work

The app is great if you have an Internet connection I downloaded it onto my iPad before going to the zoo but discovered at the zoo that the map and most of the other content was not available when not connected to wifi so it was pretty much useless while at the zoo        needs Internet to work

I downloaded this application because it was advertised in the zoo as a map of the zoo The map was a caricatured version making it indecipherable It was unable to find simple exhibits using the search function such as Zebra or Panda Considering its an interactive map and should be easily updated to reflect changes in the park it was extremely frustrating that it lead us to multiple food stands that were closed Save your money and use the map on their website     Terrible

The website tells you to download this app to watch additional cams but they arent on this app And of the few cams they do have in the app the only one working was the one we could view before buying the app COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY Grrr     Cams not available

I wish all zoosamusement parks had an app like this Moving map with current location worked great Notification of zoo events feedings worked great Camera access cool but no animals in view of course Additional texts and movies were awesome showing current info about animals and projects at the zoo Very entertaining when animals not moving Definitely worth 2 the price of a paper map                 Great App

The panda cam is totally worth it it looks great on my ipad Not sure whats going on with tiger den and golden tamarin cams hope theyll fix that Also maybe add more info on actual animals they have versus just characteristics of the type of animal Also would like project details of things theyre doing at the zoo upcoming in progress and completed              Good but could use some work

I purchased this app in planning for my familys first trip to the National Zoo I heard from friends that you have to pay 2 for a zoo map so I thought this app would be a great way to learn about the animals beforehand and then use the map while at the zoo I downloaded the app using a wifi connection and it worked great providing lots of information on the exhibits Then when we got to the zoo where I didnt have a wifi or data connection the app wouldnt even open I read all the app descriptions but no where did it say a data or wifi connection was needed to use the app Given the size of the app and the price of the app you would think the developers wouldve at least made the map accessible without a connection because its just a map If youre not going to have a data connection while at the zoo dont waste your money on the app spend 2 on the zoo map instead           Good app but wont work without a data or wifi connection

I love this app but my absolute favorite exhibit in the zoo is the Amazonia exhibit I live 17 hours away from Washington DC In florida and have only been able to see your amazing fish a few times and I have to go on the computer to watch the Amazonia webcam the reason I bought the app is so I could watch the Amazonia fish on my phone and was seriously disappointed when I found out the web cam isnt on it              Please please take what I have to say into account in your next update

This app was not worthwhile since it offered no improvement on the regular web site and was in fact inferior to the web site The map was less detailed than the map on the web site had the same pictures but no text The app had no information about food Also every time I clicked on parking information the app crashed I was hoping the app might offer some realtime interactions like letting me know which parking lots were currently fullempty or working with the phones internal GPS to track my place on the map no such luck        Not Worth It

I wanted to download the this app as directed on the zoos website so that my grandchildren could view the newborn tiger cubs on the web cam I invest in the app select the only tiger webcam and view a tree and little else My grandchildren are not impressed with the tree and I am not impressed with being misled     Bate and Switch DONT DOWNLOAD FOR VIEWING TIGER CUBS

My family really enjoys this app My daughter absolutely loves watching the videos of the panda bears which we usually watch before she goes to sleep each night She asks to read about the different animals and especially likes putting pictures of our family in the Zooify yourself portion of the app Lots of cool features and great content make this app a must                 Fantastic
