no matter what the app will never connect to my camera even if Im connected to strong wifi its so stupid and Im very me because I recently took some very nice pictures and would like to get them to my phone with no hassle PLEASE FIX THE DUMB BUGS IN THIS COMPLETELY ABSOLUTELY STUPID APP     so stupid and useless
Works great on my Nikon Coolpix L840 to connect to my iPad Had it up and connected in about 5 minutes              Nikon AppCoolpix L840
Worst app I have ever used Nikon sells a camera which they asvertise as having the ability to download photovideo to your smartphoneexcept their app doesnt work Doesnt support video and crashes constantly Nikon you should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing this to be your company image     Horribly in need of an update
Just plugged the adapter in turned on the camera used phone settings to select wifi for the wu1a Opened the app and all works fine Not getting great transfer speeds but everything works fine Did not have to turn on airplane mode Got the adaptor and app to remotely snap pics Tried from about 25 and all good                 WU1a with D3200 app works fine
I bought Nikon S7000 this weekend to replace a Samsung that was stolen a couple of weeks ago I thought the Samsung wifi process was clunky but the Niko One doesnt work at all In this day and age that is disappointing ting and unacceptable It is too bad because it is a nice size for me and takes great pictures and has a nice zoom I am going to return it this week and get something else        Wifi bad Camera good
This app eats battery life no other application It makes my phone very warm It freezes and keeps disconnecting     Not good
I havent tried airplane mode yet but thats not in the instructions when you buy an adapter or in the app You should not have to do something so ridiculous where if you wanna shoot and download at once you cant be texting or receive calls Needs a major fix a extremely upset Waste of 60 dollars     REDICULOUSE
This app worked perfect a couple years ago Now its total junk It wont even download a single photo without crashing     Used to be amazing
Cannot download the video camera Nikon 1j4 please fix the problem not video     Nikon 1J4
I had no problem pairing the phone to the application I did put the phone in airplane mode However Im not sure theres enough functionality to make the application worth using I hope Nikon uses this opportunity to improve the application and firmware           Good Start Needs More Features
I really wanted an easy way to transfer photos to my phone when I was a way from my Mac This helped but only when I figured out how to set the settings on my phone I found when I turn off my cellular Bluetooth and am only connected to the Nikon wifi this app works 100 of the time Its a little bit of a pain to keep changing my phone settings but I only have to do it when Im on holiday Hope this helps everyone           Works great When setup right
If you bought the camera thinking you would transfer your pics via WIFI too bad This feature could have been simple Just connect to the WIFI and let any picture app download the files No chance its Nikon I cant even get the camera and the app to communicate Shame on Nikon     Like others said it does not work
I read a couple of the truly poor reviews and I can only assume that those people dont know how to operate the simplest of computer devices The tool is a bit clunky and doesnt support videos but it works as advertised              A bit clunky but works
Updates for iPhone6 please It wont work           Wifi Connect iPhone 6
Paid 70 for this and I cant get it to work with my iPhone 4s I have the right app and the right camera but they will not sync Disappointed     Not compatible with my smartphone 4s
This app only does one thing extremely well It opens and continually says it is negotiating It will continue negotiating until your iPhone battery dies This app should have been used in the USIran nuclear talks     DOA
When will this App be available for IPad              Wireless Mobile Utility
To connect to your iPhone just go to your wifi setting on your camera turn it on then you go to your wifi settings on your phone and click the nikon wifi simple as that              Help people connect to camera
You can only download pictures from the camera to your smartphone videos do not transfer What a waste of money     Horrible
I cant understand why this app does not support iPad Some Nikon product manager decided that people wont want see their pictures on iPad     No iPad support
Its worked well so far for me I dont generally download ALL the pics from my camera onto my phone or iPad only the ones I want to send or show off on my iPad I save the rest for downloading on my PC with a large hard drive at home                 Remember IOS 6 or later airplane mode
I installed Snap Image App using Nikon WMU and Nikon WU1a adapter on Nikon D7100 DSLR CAMERA This app work so sweet on my Apple IPad Air 2 I can view picture on my camera from my I Pad I can take picture remotely from from my IPad picking what I want to focus on alsowow I can the select the pictures on the camera from the IPad and download them to the IPad and the email themamazing App The app links up to the camera securely using WPA so theres no worries on your photos being hackedvery cool Nikon job well done kudos I give this app 5 starsit really deserves 10 I know some people gave it low reviews nonsense FOLLOW Nikons Step by step instructions download the PDFs and you will be successful                 Snap Image App using Nikon WMU and Nikon WU1a adapter on Nikon D7100
Often it loges out of wifi on my phone I dont know why but it will not stay connected Please fix it     Simply doesnt work
The functionality of this app is so limited I thought I was initially doing something wrong After using the Panasonic Imaging app where I could change a plethora of options from my phone Shutter White balance gain etc zoom in and out recordstop all while previewing the video on my phone imagine my surprise when I fired up the 7200 and this app is working as glorified shutter remote that occasionally works well enough to download photos I havent had near the issues other people seem to but even when it works its underwhelming        Cant Even StartStop Recorded video
It wont let me download videos how inconvenient        Annoyed
THIS APP WORKS if you put your phone or iPad in AIRPLANE MODE before beginning Read the reviews below for instructions I was so frustrated with this app until I found this simple solution Thanks to all previous posters for the tips and for saving my sanity Nikon could save a lot of grief if they would either work out the bugs or let people in on the solution           Shellie
Okay its really late at night so my appropriateness filter is gone This app is garbage My sister has to upload email and resave pictures with a usb cord and the computer with her Canon Rebel Twhatever and that seems like the better deal here You have to select each picture one by God blessed one and select Original for quality If you go with recommended quality or the other one the picture quality is garbage yet recommended is the only setting in which you can import multiple photos at once I SAVED ABOUT 1000 FROM SELLING ART AND MY GODDAMNED BAT MITZVAH TO BUY MY NIKON D5300 AND NIKON DOESNT EVEN BOTHER TO UPDATE AN APP THAT HAS MULTIPLE REVIEWS THAT CALL IT TRASH BRAVO AND SLOW CLAP NIKON        trash apps belong in the trash
I have yet to receive an update for the app I think it glitches and disconnects more than it functions properly I would not recommend this app or product at all     Very poor
This was working after I first purchased it but now when I need it I can not download any images since the wifi from my iPhone always disconnects I expect better after paying 2000 for my Nikon body and the wifi adapter     Not so good Nikon
This app would be incredible if it worked Why is the interface so ancient why does it not properly transfer photos why doesnt it connect half the time There is so much potential Do better Nikon Get this working     Come on Nikon
Im so disappointed with this app I would not recommend this to anyone It constantly disconnects from my camera takes forever to download if it downloads Ive waited long periods of time for pictures to download from my camera onto my phone then the camera disconnects I was really looking forward to using this device am SO upset that it doesnt work well I got this as a gift for my birthday in hopes of it working Very disappointing     What a Disappointment
Thanks to whoever posted the tip about airplane mode My camera made a connection to my iPad with no problems after following their advice I havent had the camera long enough to find any issues with battery drain etc but for now it works exactly how I wanted pics wirelessly on my iOS devices           Thank you for airplane mode tip
The module hardly stays connected to the app and transferring even a few pictures takes hours     Rarely works
Wont even connect my iPhone to the D 750 Read instructions support reviews Nothing works     Terrible
this app has worked well for me since Ive had it for over a year but I would like to ask if you could add a take video option since I dont have a camera that has a flip out screen if you added a video option I could see my self through my phone while filming           cool but
This is a great app Very simple to use I LOVE being able to download pics from my camera to my phone I do wish they had an iPad app                 Love this app
I read a few reviews before downloading this app to my iPhone 5 I should have dived right in It seems pretty solid simple and stable Go for it              It works
I have a Nikon D3200 I use the adapter that came with the camera and an iPhone 6 I have only been able to download images once every other time it times out and and disconnects Even if I am trying to download just one at the smallest size The only good thing is that you can see your images slightly larger on your phone if you want to look at them other than that useless for me I also tried taking pics with the app VERY slow     Almost useless
The instructions on my Nikon 750 were so bad for iPhone I had to google how to do it It didnt see the camera in wifi for many tries When it finally connected it worked OK but emailing photos didnt seem to work until I disconnected camera wifi Badly documented and implemented        Pretty bad
This app used to work fine but lately it is reading only a limited number of images from my cards D610 despite the app recognizing that I have additional images stored on both cards and allowing remote picture taking it simply will not read the newer images I have the app installed on both iPhone and iPad the results are the same it wont show me the newer images     Has Issues on both iPad and iphone
Got the adapter to use with my D3300 Was able to connect to the adapter fine App loads up and shows the picture Downloads the pictures I select quickly Used the app to add a password to the wifi network no problem Havent used it much but the take a photo feature remote shutter seemed to work fine Mostly wanted to quickly be able to get photos to my phone and this works fine for me                 So far so good
First I would just like to say I love the app and it works very well with my Nikon 1 j5 But i really really really wish there was a way to get my videos to my phone from the app Please update it and make it to where we can get photos and videos from this app           Please update
Unlike everyone else I think this app is awesome Its much better than a computer when downloading photos It lets me download photos in seconds                 Loving this app
Dont waste your money on the adapter and your sanity on this free app The adapter came with the d610 kit I purchased and finally got around to trying it today Its a very poorly done interface that freezes often and not worth the hassle If you need something to do remote shutter release just buy the 20 dollar wireless remote that actually works and save yourself the headache of trying to use this        A fairly abysmal app
Put device in airplane mode and it works much better     Bugs
Im using an Air2 with my 750D Initial set up took a bit of tweaking as my iPad liked it better after I set up the wifi connection with a password the installation did take some trial and error for me Ive only used it to preview save pictures to the iPad and its been flawless Perfect to show potential customers what the shot looks like              Works fine for what I use it for
App downloads photos with much less resolution than originals No choice and no warning Photos would be OK for social media but most iPhones out there take better photos than the reduced versions except for the optical zoom so this feature makes the app all but useless Id like to see a mode to download full size photos to my iPad Camera S6800 takes a very long time to establish a connection Im not sure if this is the app or the cameras problem Connection is also unstable App looks cheap and hastily designed Last update was 4 months ago and doesnt refer to latest iOS 841 Cmon Nikon You can afford to do better        I expected much better from Nikon
App is useless Constantly disconnects and live view is slow to refresh Dont waste time and money on app and Wu device Now you can not download a photo Camera just shuts off and disconnects Its amazing that Nikon produced such a piece of crap     Junk
If you download Recommended size for multiple photos and begin to edit in mobile device you get weird Grid Like artifacts NEED OPTION for Download Original size for multiple photos please update Otherwise works great for d5500              Update for downloads please d5500
The camera d5500 can be right next to the iPad with the camera as the chosen wifi connection and sometimes they connect and sometimes they dont I thought this would be automatic I take the picture and magically find it in my camera roll Not the case After you take the pictures you have to connect the camera and iPad via settings hope they connect go back to the camera and choose which photos you want transferred then back to the iPad to tell the upload to start It does not work most of the time because they dont connect It is faster and easier to just take out the card and download the photos to my Mac and then transfer to iPhoto This this is a waste of time     crAPP
